Death and Dying

Well, I just went to calling hours for my late aunt tonight.  She died at age 56 years old from a heart attack.  What a shame.

Death always makes you remember how thankful you are to be around and it also makes you realize that life is so fragile.

You never know when your time will be up.  Do what you can, while you’re on this planet, and live for God.  Spend time with your kids, friends, family, and be nice.  Don’t sweat the small stuff.  Life is too short to be crass about stuff.

Move on…..because eventually we all move on.

Getting cold out already…

Well It’s now 12:35am on Monday morning and I just went outside to see how it is out.  It’s about 32 degrees outside and just beautiful.  You can see your breath, and everything is just crisp and clear out.  The moon and the stars are out.  It’s beautiful.

I just love Fall and Winter.  I guess even though sometimes I complain about Ohio, I would probably be upset living some place that didn’t have all four seasons.  I love them all, but fall and winter are my favorites.

Bonus…I’m off work tomorrow.   Yippie!

This country is going to hell in a hand-basket fast…

Everything is fucked up.  The government is taking our tax dollars and giving it to irresponsible companies and their overpaid fuck executives.

Why should I even pay taxes anymore?  How about I choose where my money goes?

This country needs to throw the current government out on the fucking street and replace it.  Oh but instead, George W. Bush decided to put governments into other countries like Iraq.  Yeah the governments don’t work and as soon as our troops leave it’s going to be just as fucked up (or more) than it was before we invaded them.

Yeah, lets spend money on the Space Program, and give $700 Billion to greedy rich people while there are people in every city in this nation that are going hungry and need shelter and clothing.

Our government is so out of touch with what the fuck needs done it’s insane.

Where are we going…..and what’s up with this hand-basket?

Things I’m thankful for!

I’m really feeling thankful today.  I’m thankful for a whole lot.  Here are a few things I’m thankful for…

1.  My wife and little girl.

2.  The fact that I have a good job and means to get there.

3.  For the fact that I work inside and I pretty much get paid to do my hobby.

4.  That even when I mess up real bad that God forgives me and loves me.

5.  That I have a Bible to read.

6.  My sister.

7.  A warm house.

8.  Food.

9.  Health Insurance

10.  My health and the health of my family.

11.  The Lava Lamp I’m looking at.

12.  The clothes I have.

13.  My parents.

14.  Our cluttered house.

15.  Love (it conquers all).

16.  My life.

17.  Every day that God gives me another day to live.

18.  That George W. Bush will not be President anymore (soon).

19.  The beautiful clear sky and bright moon.

20.  The changing colors of the fall trees.

Love people and use things….don’t love things and use people!

Ok, I lied. I’m not done blogging…

Alright, Ok, fine.  I realized that I can’t stop blogging because of the original reason that I started.  It’s because I do it to release steam, or calm down, or whatever.  You know, to sorta get things off your chest.  So yeah it was short and I’m back.

I’ve got some interesting things on my mind that I am going to be sharing in short order.

Done blogging, among other things…

After much thought, I have decided to just stop writing on this blog.

I am taking a long break from the Internet period.  No more YouTube time, no more Internet forums, no more blogging.  Just some occasional news reading here and there.  People these days spend too much time playing games, surfing the web, and generally getting fat.  I’m not going to be part of that.

I will instead be doing things outside like hiking, biking, working on home improvement projects etc.  I think I’ll even start reading good old books again.

No more couch potato time.  Time to turn over a new leaf.
